Phonak Unveils Expanded Product Range for Spring

Phonak’s Lumity family has been designed to optimize speech understanding in the many settings people often find themselves during their daily lives.

Enabling many of the benefits of Lumity is SmartSpeech™ Technology, a collection of features that show measured improvement in speech intelligibility and reduction in listening effort.

Two of the most challenging situations identified by those with hearing loss is when someone has a soft voice or is talking from another room. Smartspeech Technology was developed to help address these situations and many more!

There is now new evidence for patients with severe-to-profound hearing loss that has been added to positive benefits previously published for adults with mild-to-severe hearing loss, and for children with mild-to-severe loss.

• New studies indicated an improvement in speech understanding and a reduction of listening effort with soft speech coming from afar or from an adjacent room.
• This evidence comes right in time for the release of even more form factors within the comprehensive Lumity portfolio.

Improved DataLogging and eSolutions

To make counseling and record-keeping easier, Target 9.1 can now show  DataLogging from the last five Target sessions. DataLogging has a new view, and these improvements will allow hearing care professionals to more easily review the data, counsel, make recommendations, and make programming adjustments.

Other eSolutions,,such as the highly rated myPhonak app and myPhonak Junior app have  also been updated this spring. Among the recent updates is the “Stay connected” feature in the myPhonak app. This provides the option to keep your hearing aids always connected to the app, and effectively minimizes the time needed to interact with and control the hearing aids when the app comes to the foreground.  For myPhonak Junior app users, the look of the app can be customized to meet the aesthetic needs of children, teens, young adults and adults.
