Are you wondering what IP68 means?
For a frame of reference, your Google Pixel 6 or iPhone 13 are IP68 rated. This means that they are dust tight and can be immersed in specific depth of water. Ingress Protection (“IP”) is a type of testing manufacturers use to measure if the device is protected from dust and water.
Audéo Life Lumity goes beyond IP68. Besides the standard dust and one-time immersion test – these one-of-a-kind hearing aids are:
- Tested over 500x with dive tests in seawater and pool water
- Immersed in 50cm water depth
- Exposed to 50mbar overpressure
- Exposed to humidity, sweat and high temperatures for over 520 hours
