ESCO Appoints Paul Harkness as President

Industry veteran Harkness takes the helm at the early pioneer and longstanding leader of loss and damage coverage for hearing aids

Ear Service Company (ESCO), a pioneer and leader in loss and damage coverage for hearing aids, has announced the appointment of Paul Harkness as its new president. ESCO, based in Plymouth, Minn, has provided comprehensive loss, damage, and repair protection for most manufacturers, models, and styles of hearing aids since 1989.

With nearly three decades of hearing industry experience, Harkness is well known within hearing healthcare, ENT, and medical practices across the US, and the company reports he will leverage his experience to guide ESCO through the subsequent phases of growth and development.

After leading teams for several top hearing aid manufacturers, Harkness moved to the business solutions arena, where he led Amplifon's Elite Hearing Network's strong membership and revenue growth over 8+ years. He later joined the specialized leadership team at AuDConnex, with its unique recipe of best practice sharing. Most recently, Harkness was the CEO of Lantos Technologies, a 3D ear scanner manufacturer based in Derry, NH, focused on modernizing and elevating the patient experience.

Harkness studied business at Metropolitan State University in St. Paul, Minn, where he grew up. Currently, he resides in Minneapolis with his family.
