COPENHAGEN — Denmark-based software company Auditdata has announced the appointment of Christoffer Spangenberg as new CEO effective September 25, 2026, succeeding Kurt Bager, who is leaving the company to begin a new professional chapter.
Spangenberg currently serves as Chief Commercial Officer and Head of Delivery at Auditdata. Since 2019, he has led the company’s commercial activities and delivery organization and has been closely involved in Auditdata’s largest international partnerships as well as the development of the company’s products and platforms.
As CEO, Spangenberg will build on Auditdata’s position and further accelerate the development of technology that can support hearing care clinics and hospitals at a time when many are being asked to help more patients with fewer resources.

He points to continued investment in Auditdata’s clinical and commercial platforms, as well as the company’s work with , as key priorities.
Leadership Transition to Experienced Hands
Christoffer Spangenberg has many years of experience in the international software industry. He has held senior leadership roles as CEO and CCO at several international SaaS and IT companies, including Tia Technology, Experian, Addition A/S, and SAS Institute, with both global and European responsibilities.
He holds a master’s degree in economics from the University of Copenhagen and an Executive MBA from IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Bager, who is stepping down as CEO, is handing over the leadership of Auditdata following a period in which the company has launched new products and platforms, won major customers, and expanded its international presence.

Christoffer has an in-depth understanding of the business, our customers, and the organization, making him the right person to build on this progress and lead Auditdata into its next phase.”
