MoreKathy Sonnamaker completed her Master’s degree in 2001 and received her doctorate in audiology from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2005. Dr. Sonnamaker has worked in many clinical settings and found she particularly enjoys working with adult patients in private practice. The most fulfilling part of her job is building personal relationships with her patients. She is licensed with the State Committee of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and has been working in Audiology for over 16 years.
In her free time, Kathy likes exploring the geology and Native American artifacts found in the Hill Country and spending time with her friends, family and pets. She also has a passion for problem solving and discovering “how things work.” She resides in Marble Falls with her wife, tame and feral cats and three Clumber Spaniels.

MoreJacob “Jake” Keup, BSCSD is currently a 4th year extern through The University of Texas-Austin at Estes Audiology Hearing Centers. Jake joined the practice in June 2017 and has a wide-range of experiences throughout his clinical rotations in adults and pediatrics in a number of practice and hospital settings. Jake is from Austin, Texas and completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and will finish his Doctorate of Audiology in the Fall of 2017.
His favorite aspect of Audiology is the ability to work with new patients each day, and have the opportunity to make a difference in their world. Every day is a unique challenge, and a place to learn something new. He loves that he can touch a different patient’s life through better hearing through treatment and counseling.
Jake is a member of the American Academy of Audiology, the Texas Academy of Audiology, and the Future Leaders of Audiology.
