Hearing and Balance Specialist of Kansas City. I was sent there for tests for balance and dizziness by the Veterans Administration. I was apprehensive because I had some knowledge of the types of test they were going to preform on me. Upon entering the office I found the staff behind the desk to be talkative and understanding my apprehensive they began putting me at ease. When the tests began, the examiner explained everything she was going to do and what I might feel. This also eased my mind. She answered all my questions. When I asked about certain tests she said they had the most modern equipment and what I feared was outdated and wouldn’t happen. The tests were performed in such a way that I did not get real dizzy nor ill. Part of that was how the examiner prepared me prior to the test. After the examination which took about 1 hour the examiner sat down and explained the results and how my problems could be fixed. A big relief. I am glad that I went to them. Very professional and understanding about the patients fear. I recommend them highly. Rickard Thomas
