I am so pleased with the services and care I received at Modern Acoustics. Dale Woodard Is a gifted, kind and professional hearing specialist. He is a master of hearing technology and the state of the art equipment in his office, and uses it with knowledge and expertise to help his patients! He tested my hearing and adjusted my hearing aids, spending a lot of time on this, to ensure my hearing would now be optimal. Two weeks after my appointment, I am still amazed at how much better my hearing is! Modern Acoustics reminded me by email that my hearing aids were due for a cleaning and adjustment. I was able to call and get in promptly. Everything was handled with care and expertise. The hearing aids were cleaned, software updated, re-synced to my cell phone and refreshed my understanding of the features and app useage. A+ Experience!

One of my receivers went out on a Thursday, so I hung out at the store at opening without an appointment. Dale was the only one there, saw me waiting, and changed the receiver on the spot so I didn't have to struggle through the weekend. This is the difference between a big operation and a small one. Service.

Great, Dale cleaned the wax out of my ears, cleaned up my hearing aids so they are like new, put on new domes and filters, replaced the batteries and reprogrammed them to match my hearing test results. I can hear again, I am very happy. You can tell he enjoys helping people with their hearing.

Dale had laryngitis on the appointment day due to allergies. He explained the cause of his laryngitis on at least two occasions, but after the appointment ended my mother commented that she wished that the care had been provided by someone who did not have a respiratory infection. In addition, the laryngitis reduced his vocal strength to a level that made much of what he said inaudible to my mother. I frequently needed to repeat what he said to her, although I obviously did not identify everything that she had missed. A part from the temporary issue with laryngitis everything was very good.

I have worked with Dale for years. I just received my third pair of hearing aids from him to take advantage of the latest technology. We moved to Houston but I traveled back to Minneapolis because I value Dale's judgement and support.

Dale Woodard has helped me with my dated Oticon hearing aides for cleanings, checkups, and hearing tests for the last four years and has cheerfully done this for no charge to me! Now after trying very hard to access the old software I need to adjust my aides, the software is no longer supported. I will be getting some new hearing aides and of course from Dale and Modern Acoustics! Unbelievable great customer service!!

Dale took a history of my hearing loss, listened to what was important to me for new hearing aids, asked good questions and for the first time this year I felt like I was dealing with an experienced professional. He gave me good information about a range of products and prices and assisted me in making my final decision. One of the new hearing aids had a problem fitting correctly in my ear and he was able to fix the problem in the office without returning the device. Modern Acoustics is a place I will return to for future hearing needs.
